Thanksgiving in Knoxville
November 24th-27th, 2011
This year, due to the pregnancy, we were unable to do our major 3+ state travel that's become tradition. Instead we were able to spend extra time in Knoxville and enjoyed lots of time with cousins!
Who really needs a new toy? The box is the best part!
Cute Hadley!
The kids took a little pre-dinner spin around the back yard
And when we called them for dinner this is how Mary Grace showed up. Clearly, dressed for a special occasion!
Friday we took all the kids to the Fantasy of Trees
Decorating cookies-
Face painting-
There were 2 rides- a carousel and these spinning strawberries. Mary Grace and Emory chose the strawberries. Of course they ended up in the strawberry with an older kid who made the thing spin like crazy. They both got out with huge smiles on their faces and could hardly walk straight.
Saturday morning we met one of Mary Grace's best friend's, Mallory, for breakfast. They recently moved from Lexington to Chattanooga (and ironically, they are from Florida too). The girls were so excited to be reunited!

After watching the world's worst football game (UT vs. UK) we ate away our frustration at Kanpai.
Mimzie booked a very special Christmas train ride on Sunday for Mary Grace, Owen and Cole. This was a highlight of the whole trip for Mary Grace!
Our 4 days in Knoxville were wonderful!
