It's...

...Football Time In TENNESSEE!
Last Friday Mary Grace wore Orange in honor of Coach Pat Summitt. Coach Summitt is the head coach of the Lady Vol's basketball team and last week she announced she was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's (at 59). Coach Summitt has done SO much for Tennessee and women's basketball. People around the country wore orange last Friday.
I explained to Mary Grace why she was wearing orange. Almost daily she asks me how Coach Summitt is doing. She remembers, on her own, to pray for her every night. It is really sweet.
This was our conversation yesterday:
MG: 'Mommy, should I wear orange again for Coach Summitt?'
Sarah: 'Well, this weekend we will wear orange for TN football'
MG: 'So Coach Summitt is feeling better?'
Sarah: 'No, she's still sick. We need to keep praying.'
MG: 'Okay Mommy. And if she needs me to wear orange again, tell her I will'
This week we've been focusing on our pre-game for Football! We made Petro's (a TN tradition)
And we made rice crispy treats!
And a sign to hang in Daddy's office.

Of course Mary Grace had to wear her uniform to school today, but we broke the rules a bit and wore orange hair bows and UT socks!
And now we're on our way to Rocky Top....
