Last year we enjoyed going to the Lexington Legends games so much that we decided to buy season tickets this year. Last Thursday was opening night!
Mary Grace sat through all 9 innings! She enjoyed cheering hard and is beginning to pick up on some baseball terminology (she's got a LONG way to go though) 
I have to say, our seats are pretty close to perfect. We're 4 rows right behind home plate! And most of the major league scouts sit in our area which is kind of entertaining.
Unfortunately, the Legends lost. Every year the owner of the team makes a bet that the team will win the home opener. Coincidentally, this year the die-hard UK fan bet that if they lost he'd have to wear UT orange until the team wins. After the game he put on this orange sports coat as they made the announcement to the crowd. The 3 of us were the only people in the entire stadium that stood up and cheered!
Although it was late, we couldn't resist staying for the fireworks show. Perfect way to end a great night! We're really looking forward to lots of games this season!
